Bas Meelker Landscape Photography

It's almost ten years ago when it all started. Back in 2002 when I picked up my first camera and took my first pictures. A hobby was born and quickly became a passion (obsession is a better description...) A lot has changed since I took those first pictures and it' s been one big roller coaster ride. I'm a full time landscape and wildlife photography pro now for some years and my images are widely used in magazines, books, internet media, billboards, brochures and many other media. I'm a workshop leader, blogger and frequent speaker at photography events. Wow. Time flies and I enjoyed every bit of it. I feel very lucky to be able to make a good living out of my passion.

But... there was one thing still missing: a book. Well, next week, on Tuesday, may 24, that's been taking care off as well. Yes, next week my first book will be published. It's called Focus op fotografie - Landschappen en Architectuur. It's written in Dutch and it's a great book for every landscape and architectural photographer. I've written it together with Pieter Dheaze and it's available at most book stores and online for € 27,50.
